The first College of Arts and Sciences Faculty meeting of the new academic year will be held on Wednesday, September 21, at 4:00 pm in the Alumni House.

Our agenda is as follows:

1. (Re)Election of Chair and Secretary of the College faculty for 2005-2006

2. Review and approval of the minutes of our meeting of April 27, 2005 (attached)

3. Motion to invite Noel Appel to attend the meeting.

4. Remarks by Dean Snyder

5. Discussion of the College Merit Structures (documents previously distributed)

6. Introductions of new faculty in the College

We will adjourn by 5:30 to a reception in honor of our new faculty.
