The CALENDAR of THORIKOS

Translation of the cult-calendar of the Athenian deme ("parish" in older translations) Thorikos (which is near Sounion/Sunium) from the early fourth century b.c. Attached: Translated by J. Wickersham according to the transcription of the Greek text and photgraph of the stone as published by G. Daux, LAntiquité classique 52 [1983]:150-174). Names of the months are printed in boldface (for modern equivalents, see next link). Places where the stone is illegibly damaged are marked by an ellipsis ( ... ).
