Rassias Method Workshop

November 30-December 1, 2007

Fairfield University

Fairfield, Connecticut

Professor John Rassias, President of the Rassias Foundation at Dartmouth College, presented over thirty of his techniques for energizing the language classroom in this two-day workshop at Fairfield University.  He was ably assisted by Ms. Helene Rassias-Miles, Executive Director of the Rassias Foundation, and Ms. Yukiko Honda.   Hosting was Prof. Joel Goldfield, Director of Fairfield’s Culpeper Language Resource Center and Academic Director of the Rassias Institute for Language and Cultural Studies.  Over fifty teachers from around New England, New Jersey, New York, Illinois and Maryland pooled their talents in making this hands-on workshop a success.

Toward the end of the workshop, many of the teachers found themselves gravitating toward the center stage again with Professor Rassias.

After a few well-chosen notes by Professors Joel Goldfield and John Rassias, it was time for the official graduation.
