In order for there to be a future of media audiences, there needs to be a future of advertising. A perfect example of the future of advertising is advergaming. “Advergaming is a form of online entertainment that injects branded advertising into a video game format. These so-called ‘video games’ are targeted to children, drawing them in through interactive banner ads on commerical websites, messages on social media outlets and text on packaged food labels” (Pajer, n.d.).
