Recycling does work. It's efforts cause some pollution in themselves, but nothing compared to the sloth of digging a landfill and dumping the trash into the earth, followed by waiting for some better solution to present itself. The benefits easily and obviously outweigh the negatives. It is not all that difficult to do. Should everyone participate, the world would be a better, cleaner, place.
