Here are some of my latest projects at Fairield and at other institutions nationally.
Since 1996, I have led faculty development at three universities, and given invited
presentations at 35 conferences and institutions including
Harvard, Columbia and New York University. I'm currently associate director of the Center for Academic Excellence at Fairfield
University, assistant professor in curriculum and instruction (in the Graduate School of Education & Allied Professions), and teaching Environmental Justice (in Applied Ethics) in spring 2010. My studies ranged from engineering and
studio art to a Ph.D. in cultural studies and education at Teachers College,
Columbia University. My scholarship includes 6 peer reviewed
articles, 6 chapters
in books including The Colbert Report and
Philosophy (see this review esp.), and a book I am authoring entitled Teaching for Transformation: Pathways and Pitfalls of Integrative
Learning.
