Thursday, November 29, 2012 - Faculty Research Talk featuring Anita Fernandez , Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Biology presented her research topic, "A genetic approach toward studying early development in nematode worm Caenorhabditis elegans."

Thursday, March 7, 2013 - The Library Multimedia Room was the setting for Dr. Richard Anthes, President Emeritis, University Corporation for Atmospheric Research presented his talk entitled, "Hurricanes, weather patterns and climate change - why a few degrees matter."

Thursday, April 25, 2013 - 13th Annual Student Poster Session was held in conjunction with the Undergraduate Research Symposium. The Sigma Xi session was held from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Barone Campus Center and featured 55 projects involving 110 students in scientific research. View event booklet. View Photos.

Wednesday, May 15, 2013 - at 11:00 a.m., the Sigma Xi Reception and Induction Ceremony was held in the Alumni House Brennan Room. Thirteen students were officially inducted into our chapter - View Photos.
