Vishnu Vinekar, Ph.D.
Dr. Vishnu Vinekar is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems
at the Charles F. Dolan School of Business at Fairfield University.
He earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Business Administration
with a major in Information Systems and a minor in Management from
the University of Texas at Arlington. He obtained his master's
degree in Business Administration with a major in Information
Systems from Texas A&M International University. He earned his
bachelor's degree in Architecture at Manipal Institute of
Technology.
He won the Americas Conference in Information Systems'
Best Paper Award and the University of Texas at Arlington's Lawrence L. Schkade
Award for Excellence in Research in 2007. He has published in the
journals Information Systems Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of International
Technology & Information Management, IEEE Computer, Journal of Information & Knowledge Management, and Issues in Information Systems and
presented papers at the AMCIS, DSI and SAIS conferences.
