April 29

• I will hold office hours on Wednesday, May 1, 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and on Friday, May 3, 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

• I will email solutions to the Extra Practice Problems Involving Trigonometric Functions on Thursday, May 2. Do not read the solutions until after you have tried doing the problems!

April 25

• The Final Exam will be given on Monday, May 6, in our usual classroom Bannow 340, from 8:00 - 11:00 a.m.

• The exam is comprehensive and will be representative of the material we have learned throughout the term. Your previous exams, quizzes and homework problems are representative of the type of question you will see on the exam.

• A Review Sheet for the Final Exam is available to help you study, as is an additional sheet containing Practice Problems Involving Trigonometric Functions.

• You may use a calculator on the exam.

• There will be a review session in class on Monday, April 29. Come prepared with questions!

April 11

• Quiz 4 will be given during the first 15 minutes of class on Thursday, April 18.

• The quiz will cover Sections 12.1, 12.3 and 12.4 of your text. This is the material in Homework 8.

• You may use a calculator on the quiz.

March 25

• Exam 2 will be given in class on Thursday, April 4. The exam will cover the following material.

  • Chapter 7: Sections 7.1 - 7.6
  • Chapter 8: Sections 8.1, 8.2 and 8.4
  • Chapter 13: Section 13.3
  This is the material covered in Homework Assignments 4, 5, 6 and 7.

• You may use a calculator on the exam.

• There will be a review session in class on Monday, April 1. Come prepared with questions!

• Due to the snowstorm, Quiz 3 will be given on Monday, March 11.

• The deadline for Homework Assignment 5 has been extended to Monday, March 11.

• The Math Center is now open! The Math Center is located in Bannow 122 and is a place where you can get free tutoring in Calculus and Pre-Calculus topics. Sign up online at the Math Center Website.

• Both individual and group sessions are available. For individual sessions, sign up online; for group sessions, no advance sign up is required. Check the Math Center Website for current tutoring times.
