About Coral
Corals are marine invertebrates in class Anthozoa of phylum Cnidaria. Coral organisms, called polyps, can live on their own, but are primarily associated with the spectacularly diverse limestone communities, or reefs, they construct. Although there are hundreds of different species of corals, they are generally classified as either hard coral or soft coral.
