BASE Camp

Broadening Access to Science Education

BASE Camp is a one-week summer science camp for high school students. The goal of BASE Camp is to engage inner city high school students in hands-on scientific research. We hope that this opportunity will encourage interest in the pursuit of science at the college level.

Over the years this program has been funded through grants provided by the Louis Calder Foundation, the Maximilian E. and Marion O. Hoffman Foundation and Bank of America. We are grateful to these foundations for making this experience possible for these students.
