The purpose of the Student Life Committee is "to study and make recommendations concerning nonacademic aspects of student life (e.g., clubs, organizations, recreation, student health and welfare services, food services, residence halls, student conduct and lifestyle).," and will elect "one member to attend and participate in meetings of the Student Life Committee of the Board of Trustees . . . per the standing invitation of the Board"  Fairfield University Faculty Handbook, p. 21 .
