• Investing in School Technology: Strategies to Meet the Funding
Challenge
Although this guide was prepared
by the Pelavin Research Institute
in November,
1997 for
the U.S. Department
of Education's Office of
Educational Technology, the
information it
contains is still relevant
and invaluable.
The purpose
of the paper is to provide
state and local policymakers,
state
legislatures,
state superintendents and
departments of education,
local school boards,
school district
superintendents,
and teachers
some tools and pointers for
thinking about their educational
technology
plans and for
developing
comprehensive strategies
for funding those plans.
It is also available as a
downloadable
PDF file.
